Product Utilities
Product utilities are interactive programs—provided on CD—that enhance the functionality of many Novell products. There are two different types of utilities:
- Subscriber-Exclusive Utilities
- Bonus Utilities
Both types of utilities work seamlessly with Novell software and provide useful administrative or diagnostic functions. Because Novell does not support Bonus Utilities, you download these files at your own risk.
Subscriber-Exclusive Utilities
Subscriber-Exclusive Utilities are based on customer feedback. They are created specifically for Novell Technical Subscriptions and are only available through a paid subscription.
Subscriber-Exclusive Utilities are available for the following programs:
- eDirectory
- GroupWise
- NetWare
- ZENworks for Desktops
Bonus Utilities
Bonus Utilities include over 500 useful shareware and freeware programs created by consultants, engineers and developers inside and outside Novell.
Bonus Utilities are available in 14 areas. Here are some of the products for which utilities exist:

- iChain
- NetWare
- Novell Portal Services
- ZENworks for Desktops
