How can I purchase a Novell Technical Subscription?
Access the Buy, Renew or Upgrade page and follow the instructions.
Can I pay in my local currency?
If you are using a credit card and you are not in the United States, your credit card issuer will convert the price from U.S. dollars to your local currency at the issuer's exchange rate. If you are paying by check or money order, you must provide payment in U.S. dollars.
If you purchase through your local reseller, you will use local currency.
Besides using a credit card online, how else can I remit payment?
Online orders must be paid for by credit card. Customers that order by phone will be given the option to pay by credit card, wire transfer, purchase order or check. Purchase orders and checks must be mailed in, and must be received before the product will be shipped. To order by phone, please call:

Will I be charged taxes even though the total on the Web site does not include taxes?
Yes. Novell collects taxes for all online orders. You will be charged sales tax based on the shipping address that you supply. The total figure given on the Web site does not include sales tax. However, a notice alerts you that you will be charged appropriate taxes.
I live in the United States or Canada; will I be charged sales taxes?

I live outside the United States; will I be charged sales taxes?
Customers who live outside the United States are responsible to pay for duties and taxes assessed by the local Customs office.
My tax-exempt organization was charged taxes. How can I reclaim the money?
If you live in the United States and are tax exempt, you can request to be reimbursed for the sales tax amount, but only AFTER you provide us with a copy of your tax exempt certificate using one of the following methods:

I no longer want my subscription; can I get a refund?
You can receive a refund for any'Technical Subscription product'if you make the request within 30 days of purchase.' In that case, you will be responsible to'send back the starter kit at your own expense before the refund can be issued.
Do I qualify for a free subscription?

Can I use my Certified Professional discount through my local reseller?
No. You can use your Certified Professional discount only when purchasing online.
