Advanced and Expanded Resources
Updated LogicSource for eDirectory
If you're the type who can't rest until you know your software inside and out, check out this month's LogicSource for eDirectory. Two chapters have been added, one to the 'Understanding eDirectory' section and another to the 'Understanding eDirectory Processes' section.
- Reading NDS iMonitor Statistics—This section is a continuation from last month's update. It describes how the data that is presented in NDS iMonitor is derived and what it is used for.
- Negotiating Packet Sizes—Before a data copy operation can be sent from one server to another through eDirectory's DClient, the maximum packet size must be calculated. This section goes into detail on how the maximum packet size is determined.
Updated LogicSource for GroupWise
Although the GroupWise Windows Client and WebAccess Client will have major facelifts and feature enhancements in GroupWise 7, this month's LogicSource update focuses on many of the backend additions upcoming in GroupWise 7. Some of the changes are difficult to detect, so you just might miss them without the information provided in this update.
