Technical White Papers
Do you want the latest information about Novell products and solutions? Are you ready for more than the average flyer can provide? If so, then check out the three new technical white papers shipping in August, including:
-
Improve Compliance across SAP and Non-SAP Systems: This business white paper discusses the benefits of Novell Compliance Management Platform and how the Extension for SAP adds SAP-specific capabilities as the hub of automated identity, access and security management features of the Novell Compliance Management Platform.
-
Novell Access Manager 3.1 Access Control, Policy Management and Compliance Assurance: Novell Access Manager is the next-generation access management and federated identity solution from Novell. Organizations use Access Manager to control internal and external users’ access to network content, applications and services.
-
Novell Privileged User Manager Securely Managing Super User Access: Many organizations rely on their Linux and UNIX systems to run mission-critical services and applications. However, controlling who has access to these systems can be extremely difficult, especially when multiple users (i.e., IT administrators, application developers and database administrators) all have full super user rights to root accounts. Since most of these users only need limited access to perform specific functions that require super user privileges, organizations needlessly leave themselves open to security risks and stiff regulatory penalties.
