Advanced Resources

Bonus Utilities

Each month, we send you Bonus Utilities that will help you work more efficiently with your Novell products. February's impressive shipment includes 21 new and updated utilities. Here are a few that you can look forward to:

  • cmexport: Cmexport.php is a PHP script written to be run as a console application on a Netware server. The script exports the whole call manager directory as a delimited text file containing the cn, givenname, sn (surname) and telephone number attributes. The script can readily be modified to export other attributes available in the Call Manager Directory.

  • Delete Vms from a Repository on the Grid:This job is useful when developing and testing scenarios. It is a daunting task to delete all the discovered VMs manually when cleaning up. This job will delete all the VMs from the specified datastore cleanly.

  • NDSD Process Monitor: NDSD Process Monitor is an automated tool to collect the NDSD process statistics like the number of connections on ports (389, 636, 524), Total Memory, Virtual Memory, Thread and CPU Usage by NDSD process on a Novell eDirectory Server. This is a Cross-Platform (Linux, AIX, SunOS) tool based on BASH Scripting.
