Updated Software
With January's updated software, you get the GroupWise that thinks and works like you do: Novell GroupWise 8. This new version has updates to everything from calendars, to contacts, to dashboards and more. Here is a sample of what you can expect with Novell GroupWise 8:
-
Web 2.0 tools: Bring Web 2.0 tools right into your GroupWise Home View. Create customized dashboards and easily access the tools and information that help you be your most productive in any role. RSS feeds, favorite blogs or Web sites, team workspaces or other frequently used Web applications—you can have them all right in front of you in a nearly unlimited number of interactive panels.
-
Calendars you can share: Publish and subscribe your calendar. Subscribe to external calendars and overlay your work schedule with important holidays, your favorite sporting events or anything else you need to keep on your radar, and then get live updates to stay current. You can also publish your own calendar so colleagues outside your organization can busy search your schedule and easily set appointments.
-
Easy task management: Track your progress and priorities with intuitive task management. Prioritize tasks, see how close they are to completion, add subtasks and keep it all in front of you in a task panel in your Home View dashboard.
-
Contacts that come alive: Turn your contacts into relationships. With a look and feel that brings your contacts alive, you'll see a person, not just a name. A new card format lets you enhance contacts with photos and information such as profession, published calendar link, birthdays, family members' names and more.
-
And much more to help you make IT work as one throughout the coming year
With this evaluation version of the GroupWise software, you can create a test GroupWise system that includes any number of domains, post offices, and users.

-
Pre-connect Testing: Mastering the Basics of Network Access Control: Network access control (NAC) has become an essential component of any effective security infrastructure. Without NAC, it’s difficult or impossible to keep networks clean, efficient and compliant. However, many organizations are struggling to make sense of them and find the best possible NAC solution. This paper can help you make sense of all the new technologies and approaches to NAC that have shown up in the industry recently.
