This course covers basic Linux skills as well as common tasks a system administrator of SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 has to perform, like installation, configuration of the desktop environment, software management, management of processes, printing, integration into existing environments, and rollout of a large number of installations.
Novell Sentinel 5 User Training (Course 6110 v1)
This course is designed for new or pre-5.0 users of the Novell Sentinel system who will only be using the console and investigating incidents. It introduces the Sentinel architecture, collectors, and the Control Center. Students will learn how to view real-time events, create and apply filters, investigate events, and perform incident handling and resolution using iTRAC. This material is also taught in the Fundamentals class.
Novell Sentinel 5 Administration (Course 6111 v1)
This course is designed for administrators and advanced users who will be managing a Novell Sentinel system. Topics will include system configuration tasks such as user management, filtering, correlation rules, incident and iTRAC design, system and menu management, reporting, and database management. Students will learn how to monitor and troubleshoot their Sentinel systems. This course is days 2 and 3 of the Fundamentals course.
Novell Sentinel 5 Collection (Course 6112 v1)
This course is designed for Novell Sentinel administrators and developers who need to deploy new collectors on their Sentinel systems and perform basic correlation on collected events. Students will learn how to download, install and tailor tier 1 collectors, and then deploy them into their Sentinel systems.
Implementing Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux (Course 3089)
Implementing Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux (course 3089) is designed to provide hands-on experience using the Linux platform to host Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 services. This course should reduce the fear of migrating to Linux the services currently running on NetWare.
Deploying Novell Open Enterprise server 2 for Linux (Course 3090)
This is a 5-day course designed to assist current NetWare administrators and engineers in transferring their skills and knowledge from a NetWare environment to a Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 for Linux environment.

Binary Check Tool: Checks the named binary for it's rpm owner and the rpm owner of each shared library dependency as determined by ldd. It then runs rpm verify on each file.
