They increase your efficiency and help you get optimal performance from your Novell solutions. The following list provides a sample of the utilities in this month's release:

  • (updated): IDM 3.5 Password Notification Service Driver—sends password notifications to users, the helpdesk and NAudit

  • Password Complexity Auditing Driver—prints a .csv file that describes the properties of objects' passwords without actually showing the passwords

  • (updated): BorderManager Filters Database 2.4 —monitors changes in the BorderManager filters file

  • (updated): GWAttachmentStats —easily report, sort and trend on a user's e-mail statistics, mailbox sizes, and space taken by attachments

  • GWPUDBInfo—parses a GWCheck log file into a more readable comma-delimited file

  • (updated): Netscape Address Book Import—imports a Netscape address book into GroupWise

  • Binary Check Tool—checks specified binary and shared library rpms

  • (updated): FSSync 1.8—performs file operations (delete, copy, purge..) with some Novell add-ons (purge, truee/IRM-copy)

  • (updated): NLM Inventory Tool 3.8—uses MS Word and MS Access to inventory the NLMs on your servers and other Config.txt file data

  • (updated): Epiware: Project and Document Management—provides open source Web-based project and document management

This month's release of the multiplatform beta adds support for two new systems: the ia64 and PowerPC platforms. To download the beta today, please complete the following steps:

Log in to the Subscriber Portal.

Click Download Software under Subscription Benefits.

Click Novell Professional Resource Suite (NPRS) Sep 2007 and then click Proceed to Download.

Note: This multiplatform beta is included in your subscription shipment on the Install DVD.
