New Software

The snow is already flying (for some of us, anyway). With the end of the year closing in, it's a great time to install your software evaluation licenses for 2008. The 2007 licenses will expire on December 31, so make this update a top priority today!

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2: Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 is based on the SUSE Linux Enterprise network operating system. It includes a variety of enterprise-class workgroup and collaboration services that are easy to deploy and manage. New features in version 2 include full 64-bit support, virtualization, Dynamic Storage Technology and much more.

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Service Pack 1 (SP1) source files: The SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP1 source files for x86 and x86_64 systems feature significant enhancements in virtualization, high-performance computing, security, interoperability and systems management.

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP1 Software Development Kit (SDK): SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 SP1 SDK is a comprehensive development toolkit that supports developers, as well as independent hardware vendors (IHVs) and independent software vendors (ISVs), in creating applications on or porting them to SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 SP1 products.

What's New and Upcoming

Better Searching

We have improved the multiplatform search to emulate the dynamic searching available in Folio Search. This means you can now narrow your search by adjusting your string based on the number of hits found. Check it out and let us know what you think!  

Install Your New 2008 Licenses

We have included your new 2008 evaluation software licenses on CD 1A, so be sure to install them anytime between now and the end of the year! Expanded licenses are available from the Subscriber Portal.  

Do I Really Need to Install New Licenses?

Yes! Regardless of your subscription's expiration date, your evaluation licenses will expire on December 31, 2007. Install your new 2008 licenses before your 2007 licenses expire and drop us an e-mail if you have any questions.  

Why Did I Receive a Different DVD?

All Novell Support Resource Library (NSRL) subscribers have been upgraded! If you are one of these subscribers, you will now receive the same Install DVD that ships in the Novell Professional Resource Suite.
