New Software

Security Services 2.0.3

With today's spiraling security risks, smart IT professionals know that it's critical to keep security products up to date. Now, it's easier with Security Services 2.0.3, a bundle of four Novell security products. The install script determines what versions of the bundled products, if any, are installed and updates them to the latest shipping versions. If these bundled products are not installed, the install script installs them. Now, instead of four different security products to install and update, there's only one!

The bundle includes the following components:

  • Novell International Cryptographic Infrastructure (NICI) 2.7.0.2

  • Novell Modular Authentication Service (NMAS™) 3.1.2

  • Novell Certificate Server™ 3.2

  • Novell Transport Layer Security (NTLS) 2.0

This bundle has been fully tested with Novell eDirectory™ 8.7.3 SP8, eDirectory 8.7.3 SP9 and eDirectory 8.8 SP1. Novell recommends one of these minimum versions be installed prior to installing Security Services 2.0.3.

Novell Identity Manager Integration Modules

Extend the reach of Novell Identity Manager to PBX and mainframe systems with the latest updated Novell Identity Manager Integration Modules:

  • Novell Identity Manager Integration Module 3.1 for Mainframe: This module features two provisioning options. With the bi-directional driver, you can synchronize information between Identity Manager and a connected system. The fan-out driver enables you to synchronize information from Identity Manager to many different connected systems using a single driver. Choose the functionality most appropriate for your enterprise.

  • Novell Identity Manager Integration Module 3.1 for PBX (Avaya): The Integration Module for PBX download currently contains the Avaya PBX Driver. Now you can use eDirectory to centrally manage PBX extensions and work orders and to keep user phone numbers updated—regardless of whether your PBX is centralized or distributed across multiple buildings or sites. The Avaya 1.1 update also contains support for AUDIX.
