The SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 Software Development Kit (SDK 10) is a comprehensive toolkit designed to support developers, Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), in creating applications on or porting them to SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 products. If you have one or more products from the SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 family, you can create your own applications and customize your Linux environment with these powerful tools, no matter which platform you're running it on:
-
Several integrated development environments
-
Support for the most common programming languages, including C, C++, C#, Java, Perl, Python and PHP
-
Additional development tools like debuggers and graphic design programs
The Software Development Kit contains every tool used in producing the command code base for the SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 family.
OpenOffice.org 2.0 Novell Edition
OpenOffice.org 2.0 Novell Edition is a suite of office productivity applications, including a word processor, presentation and spreadsheet applications, an HTML editor and a drawing tool. Version 2.0 is fully compatible with Microsoft Office, so users can transition smoothly to this open source solution or share files seamlessly between platforms. This special Novell Edition includes the following features:
-
Unlike the standard edition of OpenOffice.org, which strips out Microsoft Office macros, the Novell Edition of OpenOffice.org preserves them, including Excel VBA macros
-
The File selection dialog uses the native desktop dialogs rather than standard OpenOffice.org dialogs, preserving user familiarity
-
Enhanced PDF export and improved word count capabilities
-
Support for nested tables, digital signatures and Xforms
With OpenOffice.org Novell Edition, you get most of the functionality you need from an office productivity suite for free—try yours today!
