Novell Nsure Audit 1.0.2

Novell Nsure® Audit 1.0.2 is a secure logging and auditing product that helps you reduce your organization's liability and risk by ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and business-driven security policies. As a key part of any comprehensive secure identity-management solution, this indispensable product collects data about security, system and application events that occur across your organization's network. It then stores this information centrally using one of the following data formats: flat file, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Oracle or SYSLOG.

With Novell Nsure Audit, you can perform the following:

Novell ZENworks Linux Management 6.6.1

Novell ZENworks® Linux Management 6.6.1 provides enterprise management of Linux servers, workstations and desktops. With ZENworks Linux Management 6.6.1, you can use a centralized management console to manage users and organize groups of machines for installations and updates, integrate with leading software-update systems such as YaST and Red Hat* Network, roll back software packages to pre-update versions if necessary and automatically resolve software package requirements before updating to ensure that all dependencies are met.

Version 6.6.1 includes support for SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9, as well as support for deploying SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server patches.

New Snap-ins for ConsoleOne

ConsoleOne® is a Java utility that lets you manage Novell eDirectory™; objects, schema, partitions, replicas and NetWare server resources. This month's update includes new snap-ins for ConsoleOne. These snap-ins connect ConsoleOne to other Novell products you choose to install, which simplifies management, saving you time and money.

Updated LogicSource for eDirectory

Get more out of Novell eDirectory. The latest LogicSource for eDirectory update includes an enhanced Protocol Specifications section. You can use this section to look up documentation for nearly all of the eDirectory verbs. And as you become familiar with the verbs, you'll have more versatility in using eDirectory.

Updated LogicSource for GroupWise

Have you had questions about GroupWise WebAccess? LogicSource has your answers. The latest LogicSource for GroupWise update focuses on the architecture behind the GroupWise WebAccess Agent. In addition to an architecture emphasis, the update includes an explanation of all the WebAccess Agent configuration files. It also includes the steps you can take to configure the WebAccess Agent—on either NetWare 6.5 or SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server—so that it is easier to troubleshoot.

Updated LogicSource for NetWare

Take an in-depth look at Novell Storage Services (NSS) in NetWare. This month's LogicSource for NetWare update explores the features that NSS offers you as a system administrator. You'll learn how NSS sets itself up, what its dependencies are and how to configure it for optimal use.

This update also reviews the tuning parameters that help you get the most out of NSS for your NetWare environment. Specifically, it provides information about the Maintenance, Status, Control and Tuning parameters that you can see by typing NSS /? at the server console prompt.
