Updated LogicSource for eDirectory (Online)

If you're the type who can't rest until you know your software inside and out, check out the latest updates to LogicSource for eDirectory:

  • Reading NDS iMonitor Statistics—This section describes how the data presented in NDS iMonitor is derived and what it is used for. It also provides information about where the data is retrieved and offers explanations on how to interpret it.
  • Negotiating Packet Sizes—Before a data copy operation can be sent from one server to another through the eDirectory DClient, the maximum packet size must be calculated. This section goes into detail on how the maximum packet size is determined.
  • DSRepair Switches—This section was originally posted in February of 2003 but has since had new switches added. Information about the existing switches used with the UNIX and Linux platforms has also been included.
  • LDAP Command Line Options—NetWare has an undocumented LDAP command-line utility. This new chapter outlines all of the options available with this utility.
  • What Are the Differences Between Versions of eDirectory—This appendix lists all of the versions of eDirectory and discusses the features and schema differences between the different versions. This section was updated with new information about eDirectory 8.7.3 and eDirectory 8.8.
