How to Restore a Deleted Security Container
Articles and Tips: tip
01 Mar 2002
If you delete the Security Container, you will not be able to create a tree certificate authority. You must either restore the NDS partition containing the Security Container, or an administrator with create rights at [ROOT] can run SASI.NLM, which will recreate it. Or you can reinstall PKI services on any server in the tree.
Note: The most effective way to recreate the Security Container object is to reinstall PKI services. This is what initially installs the object in the first place.
