Anyone with network access can print to a public access printer. However, public access printers don't appear in NDS as objects. Here's how to create a public access printer by using the Novell NDPS gateway:

Start the NetWare Administrator (NWAdmin) utility and double-click on the NDPS Manager.

Click the Printer Agent button.

Click the New button.

Enter a name in the Printer Agent (PA) field.

Select Novell Printer Gateway for the Gateway type.

Click OK .

Select the printer and configure the printer agent for the particular printer you are installing on the network.

When you complete the configuration, you will have a public access printer that will be available on the network.

To view public access printers that are currently available through the NWAdmin utility, select the Tools drop down menu and click on NDPS Public Access Printers.
