Manually Modifying the NETINFO.CFG File

Although the preferred method of modifying the sys:\etc\netinfo.cfg file is to use the INETCFG or the NIASCFG utility, sometimes you must manually edit the file. But, if you manually edit the file, the next time you load INETCFG, it will complain of a checksum error in the netinfo.cfg file.
To avoid this, also edit the sys:\etc\netinfo.chk file and replace the 5-digit checksum with 0. This will cause INETCFG to automatically recalculate the correct checksum the next time it's loaded.
