Using the ALIAS Command

The ALIAS command is one of the lesser known NetWare server console commands. The Alias command lets you associate a keyword with a longer command, making it easier to enter. For example, to make "RS" an alias for the "Reinitialize System" command, enter the following at the console prompt or in the AUTOEXEC.NCF (or any .NCF ) file:
ALIAS RS REINITIALIZE SYSTEM
You can get a list of the commands you've aliased by typing ALIAS (with no switches) at the server console prompt. To delete an alias, type ALIAS followed by the keyword you used for the alias.
