My printer was created under NetWare 6.5 Service Pack 2. I went into Novell Remote Manager and set the location information for my printer. It did not show up in iManager. I was told that this was resolved with NetWare 6.5 Service Pack 3; however, the information still doesn't show up after I apply that patch. Why?

A.

The fix is indeed in NetWare 6.5 Service Pack 2, but is only for those printers created after the patch was applied. If you have a printer that was created before Service Pack 2 was applied, you have the following options:

  • Enter the information manually in iManager.

  • Delete and recreate the printer.

  • Follow the instructions in TID 10097674.
