BorderManager: Configuring Authentication to Internal Web Servers

Articles and Tips: qna

01 Aug 2000

Q.

Dear Ab-end: Suppose you have installed BorderManager and require SSO (Single Sign-On) to be installed (through CLNTRUST), but you don't want to have authentication for particular pages (such as all the internal web servers). What we would like to do is specify *.interalstuff.com/* to be allowed, without authentication, and everything else, should be with authentication. Do you know any way to do this with BorderManager 3.5 (with or without the Enhancement Pack)?

A.

Dear Signing: The Access Control Rules would specify which are restricted pages and which are not. These are found in the other NWAdmin tab.
