Q.
Dear Ab-end: My Jet Direct print server seems to be taking some of my user connections to my NetWare 4.11 server. How many does it take and is there a way around this?

Dear Woes: I did find a TID reference on this one. It's TID #2909709 and states the following:
";The Jet Direct print servers will take only one license connection per print queue if they are Directory Service (DS) queues. If, however, the queue is set up for bindery support through the JETADMIN utility, the Jet Direct print servers will take up to two licensed connections per print queue.
";The solution is to disable the bindery connection through the JetAdmin utility. For more information on this procedure, see TID #1203641 entitled ";HP JetDirect/NetWare Environment Hot Start,"; or contact Hewlett Packard. If you have your bindery context set on the server, bindery users will still be able to print to the printer.";
