Q.
Dear Ab-end: I have a pretty simple question but I guess I'm not looking in the right places for the answer. Can you tell me if the BorderManager Proxy Cache server keeps log files and where they are kept?
--Basking in Bakersfield
A.
Dear Basking: The BorderManager Proxy Cache server actually keeps three log files: a standard HTTP log, an extended HTTP log, and/or a NetWare audit log. You can enable or disable any combination of these three logs, and they are viewable through the NetWare Administration utility (along with the Proxy Cache statistics). These files are kept in the In SYS:ETC directory under the COMMON.LOG file for the standard HTTP log, under the EXTENDED.LOG file for the extended HTTP log, and in the NetWare audit log facility.
