Q.
Dear Ab-end: Can I remove the Address Book from the 32-bit GroupWise Client?
—Address-less in Anaheim
A.
Dear Address-less: It depends whether you want to totally remove address books altogether, or just delete a particular one. You can't remove the possibility of GroupWise ever using any address books, but you can delete a single address book. Here's how:
Open the address book.
Select the "File" menu option.
Select "Delete Book."
Highlight the address book you want to remove and click OK.
Users can delete only personal address books. They won't be able to delete the system address book.
By the way, make sure you really want to delete the address book, because you cannot undelete a deleted address book from the Trash. Once it is deleted, an address book cannot be recovered.
