Q.
Dear Ab-end: I want to deploy a User-defined Color Scheme on all the Windows 95 desktops at a customer's place. When I check the Color Schemes in the Desktop Preferences Policy under WIN95-98 User Policy Package, I see only pre-defined sets of color schemes. How can I deploy a user-defined color scheme? From which registry does Z.E.N.works refer to this pre-defined set of color schemes?

Dear Coordinated: This answer comes from Dirk Rebhan of Novell Consulting Services in Europe. First define a scheme that you like. When you save it, the saved scheme will appear in the Registry. Next, you take the Value data of the saved scheme and replace the data of a predefined scheme (Storm or any other) with your data. You can do this with the Novell Application Launcher. After that, you choose the exchanged scheme in Z.E.N.works.
The Registry keys that need to be replaced are as follows:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Appearance\Schemes] SCHEMA NAME
[HKEY_USERS\Control Panel\Appearance\Schemes] SCHEMA NAME
