Q.

Dear Ab-end: Why is it that with the new client I am unable to double-click a server in Network Neighborhood anymore? When I try, I get a message stating "Servername" is inaccessible and I have no permission to access the resource. But I'm logged in as Admin! The only way I've found to get to the server is to map a drive, which means I have to know the volume/directory I am after. Is this a bug?

A.

Dear Locked Out: SPD 190456, which describes this "bug" shows the current status as "Fixed." This means that this problem will be fixed with the client that ships with NetWare 5. In the meantime, use this workaround: browse using Novell Directory Services, click on a server and/or volume, and then browse the NetWare Servers.
