Q.
Dear Ab-end: Novell states that the GroupWise Post Office can run on Unix. Does this mean it will run on all flavors of Unix? I'm particularly interested to know if it will run on Sun's Solaris.

A.
Dear Different: Yes, you can run a GroupWise Post Office on Solaris, for which it is client and server. You can also run a GroupWise Post Office or Domain on other Unix platforms, such as HP and IBM AIX. These post offices are available for free download from the following URL:

You must have at least one NetWare 4 server running NDS, because administration of the GroupWise Post Office is through the NWAdmin utility. You must also have purchased GroupWise licenses for each mailbox.
