Dear Ab-end: am running NetWare 4.1 Storage Management Services (SMS) and I am having problems with my workstations losing their connections when I run the SBACKUP utility. Once the workstations lose their connection, they can't seem to reconnect. Any suggestions?

Dear Backed Up: You didn't give many details, but here's a good place to begin your search for a solution to your problem. Go to http://support.novell.com/search/ patlst.htm and grab the SMSUP6.EXE file under the NW v4.10 column in the Core OS Updates section. This self-extracting file contains updated NLMs and other files that are used for SMS functions such as SBACKUP and the NetWare Navigator. These updated files correct problems similar to the one you are describing.
