A.
Dear Baffled: You can set the protocol frame type as follows: Press the Alt key and double-click on the Network Neighborhood icon. Then highlight the IPX Protocol or the IPX/SPX-compatible Protocol and select Properties. For the IPX protocol selection, you can select frame types under the Advanced IPX tab. Client 32 for Windows 95 defaults to the "Use all detected frame types" setting. You can select the "Use only the following frame types" setting and indicate the frametypes that your network uses.
If you have the IPX/SPX-compatible Protocol selected under the Configuration tab, select Properties, then select the Advanced tab. Once you highlight Frame Type from the Propertylist, you can then change to whatever frame type you need this workstation to use.
By default, NetWare Client 32 sets a frame type of Auto-Detect with an Auto-Bind. As it is possible to have more than one IPX protocol loaded, be sure to adjust the correct protocol.
