Dear Ab-end: I am running GroupWise on Windows 95 clients, using the NetWare Requester provided by Microsoft (NWREDIR.VXD). I am noticing some data loss in the GroupWise database. Got any suggestions?

Dear Hopeful: Don't feel alone. Numerous customers have reported similar problems when using Microsoft's NWREDIR.VXD. Novell has worked this through with Microsoft, and Microsoft has provided a new release of the NetWare Redirector for Windows 95. If you are using Windows 95 as a desktop for NetWare and you are running GroupWise as an application, you need to download the new NWREDIR.VXD from Microsoft. Then copy the updated NWREDIR.VXD into the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. Or switch to the NetWare Client 32 for Windows 95 software that Novell provides.
