Dear Looking Ahead: So, you're worried about losing a century come January 1, 2000, eh? Never fear, Novell won't leave you hanging. For NetWare 3.11, the operating system updates contained in the 311PTE.EXE patch kit take care of this potential problem. For NetWare 3.12, use the 312PT8.EXE patch kit. For NetWare 4.1, the patch will be released in an upcoming PT patch kit in the next patch release.
You can find these patch files on the Web by going to http://support.novell.com and selecting the Search page. Then type in the patch kit that you need into the Enter Filename windows and click Find. You will then see the file listed along with helpful descriptions of what is found in the patch kit files.
