Dear Ab-end: I have a NetWare 4.1 server with 96MB of memory installed. When I type the MEMORY command at the server console prompt, it shows that I have 63,999 bytes or roughly 64MB of memory. If I try to register the extra memory through the REGISTER MEMORY command, I get the message "Additional memory was not added. The specified memory is already registered." Is all of my server's memory registered and available? What's up?

Dear Memories: This incorrect error message is due to a bug in the NetWare 4.1 operating system that causes it to not show the server's entire memory amount. This problem has been fixed in the Green River version of NetWare that will be released later this year. My advice is to plan on upgrading to that version as soon as it becomes available.
