Q.

Dear Ab-end: Is there a utility that will print the logical organization of an NDS tree?

--Stumped by the Tree

A.

Dear Stumped: Yes! SCANTREE.EXE is a freeware DOS utility that walks an entire tree or subtree and has the option of writing the logical organization (hierarchy) to a disk file. You can find SCANTREE in a self-extracting file called SCANDS.EXE, located in one of the following places:

  1. Via CompuServe in NetWire's NOVUSER forum, search for SCANDS.EXE.

  2. Via ftp://ftp.novell.com/pub/updates/nwos/nw410/scands.exe.

  3. Via www.novell.com| NetWire Technical Support Services | File Updates | Use Our FTP Server | /pub/updates/nwos/nw410.
