Dear Ab-end: I'm having some specific problems with NW4.1 and Apple printing support. In particular, I keep getting "page fault in module ATPS" abends about three times a day. Can you think of any reasons why this is happening?

Dear Not the Apple: This solution can be generically prescribed to everyone who receives page fault abends. Go to the server and type SERVMAN <Enter> at the console prompt. Under the Server Parameters option, select the Memory entry. Set the first five memory parameters to ON. These parameters (along with their defaults) appear below:
Allow Invalid Pointers=OFF Read Fault Notification=ON Read Fault Emulation=OFF Write Fault Notification=ON Write Fault Emulation=OFF
In NetWare 4.0x, these parameters all defaulted to ON, but in NetWare 4.1, only two of the five default to ON. Setting all of these parameters to ON will stabilize the system for page faults.
