Everyone adding new installation sources should update.



Problem description

If user sets in the installation sources management dialog (yast2 inst_source)
a packages source location that is an existing directory (locally or on remote
machine) but doesn't contain any metadata, the source is added without warning
the user. In most cases, it means that the location is not correct (typically
user forgot to add "/CD1" at the end. With this patch, user is asked if he
wants to add such source (to display the RPMs found in the directory in
package manager) or fix the source location.


Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh yast2-packager.rpm
