Everbody using PHP4 should update to this version of mod_php4.

Problem description

Security Update for insecure handling of mail()'s 5th argument while
operating in "safe mode" and for wrong handling of control characters
and for CRLF injection bug related to php functions header(), fopen(),
file() and some others. This update also fixes a bug in module mm so
that distinct users can use php (session lock file name now contains
sapi module name and effective user id).

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using these commands:
rcapache stop rpm -Fvh mod_php4.rpm mod_php4-core.rpm SuSEconfig rcapache start
