All users of libica on zSeries should install this patch.

Problem description

It is possible that libica generates a SIGILL when the cryptographic hardware
on zSeries is used. This update corrects the signal handling and improves the
library initialisation.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh libica.rpm
