Indications

Install this update to fix problems with Japanese fonts in Java.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

A workaround to fix Japanese font display for flash-player unfortunately had
the side effect to break Japanese font display in Java. This patch fixes this
problem.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh fonts-config.rpm
