Indications

If your system hangs on shutdown while unloading the ISDN drivers then update.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

This update prevents the ISDN shutdown script from unloading the ISDN kernel
drivers, which could hang the machine in some cases.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh capi4linux.rpm i4l-base.rpm i4l-isdnlog.rpm i4l-vbox.rpm i4lfirm.rpm km_ipppcomp.rpm
