Indications

Update Nautilus with this patch if anyone wants to create archives in Nautilus with many files.

Contraindications

Problem description

The patch (nautilus-320230-276185-ref-action-on-extension-activation.diff) is added to protect nautilus from a crash when create an archive with many files.
This also fixes bug # 276193: Nautilus could use 100% CPU after a volume was mounted or ejected.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fhv nautilus.rpm nautilus-devel.rpm
