If using the new version of the GlibC from "Recommended update for GlibC " (http://sdb.suse.de/en/psdb/html/5d046d5587937c1b994ed260f3f0d1ed.html) the development files are needed.
This package provides all needed files to compile against the new version of GlibC.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Uvh glibc-devel.rpm
