Problem description

A malicious IMAP server could execute code within evolution by sending a malformed response to a SEQUENCE command. (CVE-2007-3257)
This updates obsoletes a previous one which had problems with SSL connections.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh evolution.rpm evolution-devel.rpm evolution-pilot.rpm
