For a Fully Virtualised Xen Guest a user will want to install these drivers.

Contraindications

Problem description

The xen paravirtualized drivers included with SP4 are built for the SP3 kernel and will not install. They need to be rebuilt for the kernel version shipping with SP4.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fhv xen-kmp.rpm
