Problem description

A buffer overflow and a shell meta character problem within the acrobat reader
has been fixed, which allowed attackers to execute arbitrary commands as the
user viewing a specially crafted document.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh acroread.rpm
