Problem description

YaST writes "-1" into the /etc/shadow file if this value is set in Password
Settings dialog of yast2-users.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh yast2-users.rpm yast2-pam.rpm
