Description

The Supplementary Kit for the SuSE Linux Desktop contains various development tools required for desktop application development. It is provided as a set of two CD images that can be downloaded from the locations below. CD1 contains the compiled RPM packages, CD2 the source code to the packages.
The images can be written to a blank CD-R. To do that on a Linux system, we recommend to use the program cdrecord, for example:
cdrecord dev=0,4,0 -v -eject -speed=4 SLES-8-SLEC-1.0-i386-Supplementary-RC4-CD1.iso
for CD1 and
cdrecord dev=0,4,0 -v -eject -speed=4 SLES-8-SLEC-1.0-i386-Supplementary-RC4-CD2.iso
for CD2. Please adjust the values for dev and -speed according to your system.
