Description

This update of ruby improves the SSL certificate verification process. Prior to this update it was possible to perform a man-in-the-middle attack on SSL connections by intercepting SSL traffic.
This issue has been tracked by CVE-2007-5162 and CVE-2007-5770.

This update is provided as RPM packages that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
