Indications

All users of drbd should update to this kernel and user-space.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

This update prevents drbd from crashing the system. Please also update the kernel to the latest available version.
Additionally to the fixes in the Service-Pack 1 kernel, bugs with handling large (>=2TB) devices during resyncing, online resizing and handling more than 4 devices in parallel were also resolved. The "max-buffers" configuration variable can now actually be set.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh drbd.rpm km_drbd.rpm
