Indications

This update fixes a problem with storing data in a separate partition.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

This patch resolves an issue when creating an image with data in a partition
such as /home is stored instead in the root partition. IBM submitted a linuxrc
patch file which is incorporated in the POS_Image-DiskNetboot rpm which fixes
this issue.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh POS_Image2.rpm POS_Image-DiskNetboot-Binary2.rpm POS_Image-DiskNetboot2.rpm
