Zypp-Patch-Number: 3900
Release: 20070719
Obsoletes: none

Indications

Install this patch if you use CD-ROMs in virtual machines.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

If virt-manager was used to dynamically attach a CD-ROM to a fully virtualized OS, the OS would see a hard disk instead of a CD-ROM. This version of virt-manager correctly attaches CD-ROMs to virtual machines.
virt-manager now also allows the virtualized CD media (such as ISO files) to be changed easily.
