Installation notes

To get a working CD from the downloaded RPM you will first have to install the RPM on a system with a CD recorder (e.g. your Adminhost).
rpm -Uvh fw2_live.rpm
After having installed the RPM you will find a bzip2 compressed ISO image of the new CD in fwlivecd-2.0.9-1.iso.bz2 on your system. Uncompress that file with
bzip2 -d /opt/fas/iso/fwlivecd-2.0.9-1.iso.bz2
and write it onto a fresh CDR using the program of your choice. An example command line for cdrecord may look like this:
cdrecord dev=0,4,0 -v -eject -speed=4 /opt/fas/iso/fwlivecd-2.0.9-1.iso
Please adjust the values for dev and speed according to your system.
The documentation directory /usr/share/doc/packages/fw2_live contains a the FWCD-release file as well as file and package lists and documentation of packages used.
