Contraindications

None.

Problem description

This update provides 2 new additional GPG keys for RPM verification to the system.
These keys are used by the Novell Kernel Module Update Process to provide so called "KMP" packages for specific kernel modules.
To import the keys into the RPM database (necessary to allow installing the KMP RPMs via YAST), run the provided script: /usr/sbin/install-kmp-key as root.
If you are not using the KMP process this update is not required.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Uvh suse-build-key.rpm

To import the keys into the RPM database (necessary to allow installing the KMP RPMs via YAST), run the provided script: /usr/sbin/install-kmp-key as root.
